Dispatch center honors 911 telecommunicators during National Telecommunicators Week

National Telecommunicators Week recognizes the staff of the 911 dispatch center, the center said.

Dispatchers work behind the scenes to coordinate responses for citizens in need of emergency services with responding emergency personnel, the center said.

The center said it recognizes the dispatchers’ strength, compassion and dedication to public safety.

The center wrote, “Thank you for being the calm voice that answers the call.”
