DeSoto Shred to help host community shred day in Southaven

Organizers said they are partnering with DeSoto Shred to host a community shred day in Southaven to give residents and businesses a chance to dispose of unneeded documents.

DeSoto Shred will bring one of its trucks and provide on-site shredding, organizers said. The service is being offered to Southaven, surrounding areas and the business community.

Organizers said the event is one of two to three shred days held annually to help people clean out documents they no longer need.

There is a 50-pound limit for materials to be shredded, organizers said.
