DeSoto County law enforcement meet for monthly lunch, Olive Branch police say
Several DeSoto County law enforcement agencies gathered for lunch and discussion at 1836 DeSoto, the Olive Branch Police Department said in a post.
The department said the meetings are held each month at a different local restaurant to discuss needs, concerns and shared priorities among the agencies and the communities they serve.
The department listed the following leaders as attending: Sheriff Thomas Tuggle of the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office; Chief Carlos Garcia of the Olive Branch Police Department; Chief Seth Kern of the Southaven Police Department; Chief Jaylin James of the Walls Police Department; Chief Nikki Pullen of the Horn Lake Police Department; Chief Shane Ellis of the Hernando Police Department; and Mayor Ken Adams of Olive Branch.
Motorola Solutions joined the meeting to share insight on upcoming technology and provided lunch, the department said.
The Olive Branch Police Department also thanked Tommy and Amy Powers, owners of 1836 DeSoto, for hosting the group and for their hospitality, the post said.
