Crash Damages Traffic Signal in Olive Branch; Drivers Urged to Avoid Area

A motor vehicle crash Saturday night damaged a traffic signal at the intersection of Centerhill Road and DeSoto Road in Olive Branch, Mayor Ken Adams said.

DeSoto Electric crews are on scene working to repair the traffic light, Adams said.

Motorists were urged to avoid the area if possible, Adams said. He warned the roadway could be completely shut down at some point during repairs, which could cause significant traffic delays.

Adams asked for patience and cooperation as crews work to restore the intersection safely, according to a statement from the City of Olive Branch.
