Boyz II Men show at BankPlus Amphitheater canceled

If you had planned to see the legendary R&B group Boyz II Men at the BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove in Southaven on Oct. 10, that apparently will not happen now.

Concertgoers who logged into the Ticketmaster site Friday were greeted by this message on the webpage.

The group earlier canceled a date in Lenox, Mass., but tickets are still being sold for a Hollywood, Florida date on Oct. 5, just before coming to Southaven. They are on a tour that continues in next May and includes concerts in Jamaica and Indonesia, in addition to the United States.

“End of the Road” and “I’ll Make Love to You” are some of the hits from the group that started in Philadelphia in 1988. They have sold over 60 million albums worldwide. Robin Thicke was also scheduled to be part of the show in Southaven that night.

Those who had already purchased tickets have been sent an email explaining how to get a ticket refund. No further explanation about the reason for the cancelation and BankPlus Amphitheater officials have not said anything about the show not happening.
