July 3, 2025 – The celebration of America on Independence Day weekend has begun in a youthful way with the annual 4th of July Bike Parade, sponsored by the Hernando Optimist Club.
Youthful cyclists left Hernando Baptist Church Thursday evening, led by a Hernando Fire Department truck, and paraded toward the Courthouse Square, then returned back to the church.
Bikers were provided bike helmets to wear during the parade until the supply was exhausted. Always a fun way to start the holiday!
