AEM Manufacturing Express makes stop to highlight manufacturing
Aug 17, 2024 – Krone North America in Olive Branch this week hosted the “AEM Manufacturing Express” celebrating the role of manufacturing in the local and national economy. The Thursday event was part of a nationwide tour organized by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).
The AEM Manufacturing Express is making stops in over 20 states.
“The AEM Manufacturing Express is traveling across Mississippi to celebrate the grit, determination, and can-do spirit of the people who work in manufacturing and to remind everyone that when our industry is strong, communities like Olive Branch are also strong,” said Kip Eideberg, Senior Vice President of AEM.
Krone North America, a leader in high-quality hay and forage equipment, showcased its contributions to the local economy, emphasizing the importance of manufacturing in supporting nearly 25,000 jobs and generating $2.5 billion in state economic activity.
Thursday’s event featured remarks from company leaders, including Krone North America executives, and state Sen. Kevin Blackwell (R-Southaven), highlighting the impact of innovative technologies and processes in revolutionizing the industry.
In addition to speeches and demonstrations, attendees had the opportunity to participate in the Manufacturing Challenge, an interactive online game offering a chance to win a Ford F-150.
