11 year old Olive Branch child missing for two weeks located safe in Colorado

An 11-year-old Olive Branch girl who had been reported missing earlier this month has been found safe in Colorado, according to an update from the Olive Branch Police Department.

Police said Shaniah Isom and 28-year-old Sharayon Brown were located Friday, March 20, 2026, at approximately 4:30 p.m. in Pueblo, Colorado.

Authorities had previously said Shaniah was last seen March 7 in Olive Branch and may have been traveling with her mother and an adult male. Family members said the child had been staying with relatives before leaving with her mother and was expected to return home shortly afterward, but she was not seen again.

In a press release issued Friday, Olive Branch police said Brown was taken into custody without incident. She will be extradited back to Mississippi, where she faces a felony charge of interstate removal of a child under 14.

Police said Shaniah will be reunited with her father later Friday evening.

The Olive Branch Police Department thanked the FBI, U.S. Marshals, Colorado Springs Police Department, Pueblo Police Department and Colorado State Police for their help in bringing the case to a quick and safe resolution.
