The college celebrated its 2026 Outstanding Students in a ceremony honoring their achievements and dedication.

The Southaven Chamber of Commerce said Amanda Pitman won its Easter egg hunt and asked followers to like backdrop photos by Monday, April 13, at noon to decide a $100 prize.

DeSoto County prosecutors filed a petition to deny bond for Taderius Young, 22, after a shooting at a Horn Lake market and added an auto burglary charge, the district attorney said.
