DeSoto Hope said the event honors cancer survivors and will include a special survivor photo to remind participants they are not alone.

Olive Branch officials say Looney Road will be closed just west of 13870 Looney Road from 9 a.m. April 7 to 4 p.m. April 9 for drain work. A gate will be opened to allow access for three homes through Center Hill High School, officials said.

DeSoto Hope will hold its Light Up the Lake lantern ceremony from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at the Field of Dreams Lake in Snowden Grove Park, organizers said.

The event will feature more than 50 vendors, food trucks, inflatable attractions and pet services, Denise’s Happy Hounds said in a social media post.
