The Olive Branch Mayor’s Youth Council urged residents to join Community Clean Up Day on Saturday, March 28, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at City Park, the council and city officials said.

Olive Branch officials will hold a Community Shred and Drug Take Back Day Saturday, April 25, with shredding services and medication disposal available.

Organizers said Grits & Government will return April 23, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. with Johnathan Bigham of the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department; registration is available online.

DeSoto Family Theatre announced auditions for the regional premiere of the musical “Finding Neverland,” with appointments set for April 11 and callbacks April 12, the theatre said.

The Olive Branch Police Department visited Lewisburg High School to celebrate Ryley Foster’s 18th birthday, the department said. Mayor Ken Adams also extended birthday wishes.

A motor vehicle crash on Highway 302 west of Davidson Road has reduced westbound traffic to one lane, Ken Adams, mayor of Olive Branch, said. He urged motorists to use alternate routes and said there is no estimate for reopening the roadway.

Organizers said they will partner with DeSoto Shred to host a community shred day in Southaven to help residents and businesses dispose of unwanted documents. DeSoto Shred will bring a truck and organizers said there is a 50-pound limit.
